Three Muses for sale May 23 at Susanin’s
Three Muses, a large signed Louis Grell oil from 1934 will be auctioned at Susanin’s on May 23, 2018
It is believed to be part of a lifetime series of ten important Greek/Mythological large paintings by Grell exhibited by Jim Romano in the early 1970’s at Tree Studios. The Judgment of Paris (1937), Thus Spake Zarathustra and Neptune (1951) are all believed to be part of this lifetime series.
